Building stronger bonds between Pet Owners & their Furry Friends within the Community
Mercado Pet was born out of a profound love for our beloved Brazilian Maltese, Lila. As Brazilian immigrants with an entrepreneurial spirit, we wanted to create something that embodied our passion for pets and provided the best for them. Lila's playful and affectionate nature inspired us to curate a range of products that would bring joy and comfort to pets everywhere. Our journey began with a simple idea: to offer high-quality, affordable pet products that meet the needs of both pets and their owners.
Recently, our family grew with the arrival of Chloe, a delightful Shih Tzu/Maltese mix. Chloe's addition to our lives has further fueled our dedication to Mercado Pet. Her unique personality and charm have inspired us to expand our offerings and explore new ways to cater to the diverse needs of different pets. Both Lila and Chloe represent the heart and soul of Mercado Pet, reminding us daily of why we embarked on this journey. Our mission is to bring the same love and care we have for our pets to every customer, making Mercado Pet not just a business, but a community for pet lovers everywhere.

Why Lila Pawtique
Meet Lila, the inspiration behind MERCADO PET and our own signature Brand Lila Pawtique. Lila was also born in Brazil and came to us after a 10-hour flight when she was 6 month-old. She's the light of our business and our dearest fur-daughter. Lila is not just a pet; she's part of our family, and we believe that our customers feel the same way about their furry companions.
